What a cute story, I didn't want it to end!

The first 4 books of the Royally Wed series were good so far. One to go and I'm anxious to find out if the conclusion will live up to my expectations. "The Pregnant Princess" is my fave next to "A Royal Baby On The Way." If you like modern fairytale, then this book is definitely a keeper!

Not that good 3- stars

I agree with the other reviewers. Doesn't anyone check for consistency in these books?
Elizabeth is one of the three Princesses of Wyndborough who are the focus of this series, along with their missing brother.
Elizabeth is 27 and 5 months ago while at a charity ball she meets the eyes of a dashing man across the room and instantly is drawn to him. She is so taken with him she looses her virginity to him, before he disappears the next morning. Soon she figures out that she is pregnant and on the advice of her sister she takes the business card that was left behind and goes to America to search out her construction worker, while harboring fantasies of "happily ever after".
Rafe Throntonburg is a Prince living the life he wants to live in America. He has distanced himself from his overbearing father and basically cut all ties with his royal family. He can't get Elizabeth out of his mind. When she shows up and he confronts her and determines not only is she a Princess but is Pregnant he reacts badly by ranting and raving, assuming his father has set the whole scenario up.
While Elizabeth is still drawn to him and is continuing to fall in love with him, he continues to push her away more than he bonds to her. Though she sneaks out on him 3 different times he appears to be slow to learn and continues to falsely accuse her of being in cahoots with his father.
Will they get together in the end, will Rafe reconcile with his family, will Elizabeth forgive him? Read the story to find out.
Though if I were you I would look for a discounted copy.

Not the best one in the series
By A Customer
This was the second book I read in the Royally Wed series. I have to admit that while I liked the heroine, I thought the hero was an obnoxious oaf who did not deserve to end up happy. Their relationship was based on the flimsiest of reasons (one night of fabulous sex MUST mean two people are meant to be together), and, aside from a pregnancy and some tepid banter, there was no reason for them to be together. This book was a bit of a disappointment after the first one I read, the fabulous Undercover Princess.
